A long day

I talked to Caitlin. I think that since we have gotten the texting on our phones, we now talk more than we did when we were in the same house, let alone the same state. I miss her. I don’t miss the fighting, the arguing, the smart alleck mouth. I just miss her.  *sigh*  She said she rode a few rides and spent $2 out of her lunch money to put 2 bright red streaks in her hair…… I have no idea. She says they wash out and that they are in the back. I have given up on her hair, its her hair I would love even if she fried it all and went around bald. She did mention that she left her phone in her room so she wouldn’t loose it. She is not too big on amusement parks. They go to them all the time so why would it be special to them? Me, I havn’t been to one since I was 14.

The boys had a goo day today. I opened the new sprinkler. This long thing with wiggly water sprayers on it. It looked neat, and for once reality almost matched the package picture. The boys liked it and spent an hour running through it and since the wiggly things sprayed whatever everywhere my rad didn’t turn into a muddy mess. It has some reach on it though. I sat outside and read a book. got a little too much sun.

Mike went out to the high school to help with marching band uniforms.  I am not that diligent a booster member. I don’t do the meetings, the trips, the fundraisers. I take my boys to see teh football games and the halftime show that’s about it. Marching Band is Mike and Caitlin’s thing not mine. Mike said something about and EMS conference this weekend… oh wait I forgot to mention! HE PASSED HIS TEST! He is now officially and EMT – Basic, so when you call 911 for an ambulance and you live in Walstonburg/Castoria district he just might be the one to show up at your door.  Caitlin will go test after she gets back from Texas.

Well its late, I am not tired, I am bored, frustrated, mad and well moody. Pray for my family. Pray for my nephew Nicholas too, he is my hero and he needs your prayers.  I am going to go read more of my book.  Good night.
