First off before I forget … Happy Father’s Day to Michael, my f-i-l Douglas, Step Daddy Donald and My Dad Bill. Whew and for all my Brother in laws out there I have a bunch

Well the craziness has passed. Caitlin had her party yesterday. We were expecting anywhere from 25 to 70 people. No one RSVP’s anymore. I think we ended up with around 40 people. We were planning on hot dogs, chips cake and ice cream, with watermelon later and a bonfire with s’mores. well I still have my watermelons and the bonfire… well it rained towards the end of the party, great big huge cold rain drops with some lightening. And where were the girls? they were inside out of the rain lol.
The biggest hit of the party were the four wheelers.John and Jason – Thank you I think the kids enjoyed them over everything else, even the girly girls took turns riding and no one who rode did not get dirty, dust clouds…. lots of dusty dirt especially all over who ever rode in back.
The cake was wonderful! with whip creme icing… not too sweet. The girls (ranging from 15 to 17) took great delight in eating oh about half their icing the other half they smeared all over each other.
The party was a great success and I could not have done it with out my mil Brenda. She was wonderful and brought lots of goodies as well. and a side note….
I saw something I would never have believed before. My Sister in Law Christina and her youngest boy Daniel, in my backyard with my dogs out and about. I am proud of them!
Now for the recuperation. Caitlin had three of her girlfriends spend the night, they stayed up til 5:30am and then got back up at 9:30 for pancakes. One girl had to be at work at 7 so she got all of a thirty minute nap wooooo she is gonna be a tired puppy later. On my way to finish cleaning up whatever else is left.
